SCHOOLS & OSHC SESSIONS
Little Hoods Archery
Sessions give children and teenagers (and adults) an opportunity
to learn the basics of archery in a relaxed workshop environment.
Safety is the number one priority, with Fun and Satisfaction coming second and third.
Participants are taught basic stance and posture; the art of drawing back on the bow-string; aim and distance shooting, along with all safety elements of bow and arrow use.
Furthermore, they are taken through step by step instructions as a group, with individual coaching and instruction given each time they actually shoot.
The onus is upon achieving an individual personal best, rather than comparing efforts against others participating in the workshop.
Archery can assist children in concentrating, focus and patience
as well as the skill of shooting – and these are skills that
transfer into other elements of growing lives.

Children learn best when they are enjoying themselves!
Littlehoods Active Sessions are designed to get children actively engaged from the start to the end of the Session.
Within a session the aim is to build a child’s confidence as they enjoy learning the capabilities of their bodies and work at extending them - without anxiety.
Littlehoods Sessions are a place for kids to learn, exercise, foster friendship, develop skills and have fun! Littlehoods recognizes that there is a need for Australian children to become more involved in appropriately structured exercise programs outside of the traditional competitive sporting arena, and aims to provide this in a fun, non-threatening fashion.
